The Gathering is a two-day annual symposium that combines a practical understanding of current events in estate, business, tax and wealth strategies planning. Laureate Members and colleagues provide an advanced review of current techniques used in the financial planning practice. Open to all attendees, The Gathering meets in San Diego, California each February on the first Thursday and following Friday."

The Circle of Friends Gala is a formal black tie charity event, held every Thursday night during The Gathering. The Circle of Friends Gala draws over 400 friends, colleagues, family, and attendees every year to benefit U.S. Iraqi War Veterans through Sharp Hospital's Traumatic Brain Injury Rehabilitation Program.
